Objective of the Committee
The objectives of a Women Empowerment Cell (WEC) in an educational Institution or workplace are designed to promote gender equality, empower women, and create a safe and supportive environment for female students, faculty, and staff. Here are the objectives of KiTE Women Empowerment Cell.

Roles and Responsibilities of the Committee
- Planning and organizing workshops, seminars, and events that align with the WEC’s objectives.
- Develop mentorship programs specifically aimed at female researchers, providing guidance on research projects, career development, and overcoming gender-related challenges in R&D.
- Engage in promoting gender equality and women’s rights through various awareness campaigns, both on-campus and off-campus.
- Provide guidance on legal matters related to women’s rights, sexual harassment, and other gender-related issues.
- Address and investigate complaints related to harassment, discrimination, or any other gender-related issues raised by women in the institution.
